Used Face plates

A faceplate is a tool for workpiece clamping in a lathe. It consists of a round disk with a flat surface and a large number of radial slots that allow the workpiece to be fixed with the help of clamping jaws or claws. The workpiece is placed on the flat surface of the faceplate and then clamped using the jaws or claws. The faceplate is then mounted on the lathe and the workpiece is machined by the rotation of the faceplate. There are several types of face plates, including manual face plates and hydraulic face plates. Hydraulic face plates provide fast and precise workpiece clamping by hydraulic clamping force, while manual face plates are operated by hand and require manual adjustment of clamping force. Face plates are often used in mass production to enable efficient and accurate machining of workpieces.
