Used Die casting machines (cold chamber)

Die casting machines (cold chamber) are machines used to produce metal parts by the process of die casting. Unlike injection molding, which uses plastics, die casting involves pouring liquid metal into a mold under high pressure. In cold-chamber die casting machines, the liquid metal is loaded into a separate melting furnace or crucible and then pumped from there into the cold chamber of the machine. The cold chamber prevents the molten metal from coming into contact with the machine's plunger or screw, which is the case with hot melt processes such as hot chamber die casting. This makes cold-chamber die casting machines more suitable for processing metals with higher melting points, such as aluminum, magnesium and copper alloys. In the cold chamber die casting machine, the molten metal is injected under high pressure into a prefabricated mold (also called a die or mold) where it cools and solidifies to produce the desired shape of the part. The parts produced by cold chamber die casting machines are used in various industries including automotive, aerospace, electronics and many others.
