Used Flanging Presses

Flanging presses are special machines used for flanging metal sheets. Flanging is a process in which the edge of the sheet is bent over to provide increased rigidity and a means of joining to other sheets or parts. This can be used, for example, in the manufacture of roof and wall panels, enclosures, tanks and other metal structures. Flanging presses typically operate hydraulically or mechanically and have special tooling that reshapes the edge of the sheet during the pressing process.
